"For the VKA it is an enrichment being member of HOSPEEM. The membership helps to improve the understanding of other health systems, promotes constructive exchanges with other representatives (e.g best-practices) and contributes to participate in the process of development of working conditions at the European level regarding the hospital sector. In the future, digitalization will play an important role in the hospital sector – together with HOSPEEM we can approach this subject."

"Aran was among the HOSPEEM founding members, participating fully in all HOSPEEM activities and enjoying their benefits, especially the exchanges of best practices and new projects, to develop capacity and competencies. Moreover it has been very useful being involved in the social dialogue with the trade unions, to face together the different issues of mutual interest, such as lifelong learning, ageing workforce, recruitment and retention, health and safety and so on. In particular ARAN was a key player in the negotiations on “sharp injuries”, reaching a good agreement for both social partners, that became an EU Directive. ARAN now has enriched its participation in HOSPEEM by involving the national hospital association (FIASO) and a national research institute (INMI “Lazzaro Spallanzani – IRCCS), a true added value, thus improving the quality of its membership"

"2018 is the 10th anniversary of the Lithuanian National Association of Health Care Organizations as a full-fledged member to HOSPEEM. Throughout this last ten years, our organization has gained a lot of experience with the opportunity to attend meetings, conferences and other events, international projects and working groups organized by HOSPEEM and addressing health-related issues. The latest example of successful cooperation is the European Conference held in Lithuania this year, in which the topics and issues raised and the proposals presented will be useful to all participants and will be heard by the responsible institutions. I hope and wish for this organization a successful and productive activity and close cooperation in the future as well."

"As a major employer, the NHS is particularly impacted by employment legislation and policy, for example on health and safety and work/life balance, and has contributed actively to HOSPEEM’s social dialogue with EPSU (…). Like other healthcare employers across Europe, the NHS faces challenges (…) and we find sharing approaches and solutions to these challenges with other European healthcare employers extremely valuable. We have also both contributed to and learnt a great deal from HOSPEEM and EPSU’s successful recent projects promoting continuing professional development and lifelong learning for healthcare staff, and tackling work-related stress and musculoskeletal problems"

“Being part of the social dialogue is very important and useful on a national level and therefore also at a EU-level in order to be well-informed and prepared. HOSPEEM gives a professional platform for networking in the specific sector of healthcare and it offers a good opportunity to influence EU-regulation. It helps seeing matters in a broader perspective. For Danish Regions, it is essential to keep up about matters that seem especially relevant from a Danish point of view. The CPD and ageing workforce are themes of great interest, there are very important issues for the social partners to agree upon.”
